Teen Tech Design 13+ Thu 5:35-6:35 pm - DJTH

What does it take to put up a theatrical production? How do you program lights, design sound, build a set, or collaborate as a designer with a director? This class explores all the work that goes behind the magic of theatre. Concludes with sharing of new skills and designs during final class time. Students will not perform during showcase. Students will do sharings during their final class time, which families and friends are invited to attend!

Note:

Teen Tech Design 13+ on Thursday 5:35-6:35 pm takes place at Davenport Junior Theatre, located at 1002 West Kimberley Rd. Davenport, IA 52806.
Showcase and Tech Rehearsals will be held at the Nighswander Theatre, located at 2822 Eastern Ave. Davenport, IA 52803.

Theatre Classes begin Saturday, January 9th - Thursday, April 8th, 2027.
Classes meet once a week at the scheduled time.
Students sign in at front desk in the main lobby. Parents, please come day 1.

No Classes March 13th – 18th.
Classes conclude with sharing during final class time. This class does not present at showcase.

All students must be potty-trained before enrolling in programs.
Students should dress comfortably and be ready to move.
Showcase is free for family and friends. Students are allowed up to two absences per session. Any student who exceeds this limit will have their eligibility to perform reconsidered by their instructor and program coordinator.
