Note:

Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
1. Everyone that enters the facility must pay the admission fee. No exceptions.
• Children under eleven (11) years of age must be accompanied by an individual (16 years and over) who will remain with the child at all times, and who must be dressed for swimming.
• Children under six (6) years of age will receive a band, must be accompanied by an individual (16 years and over) who will remain with the child at all times, and who must be dressed for swimming.
2. Open if: Temperature is 70 degrees F or above with no threatening weather conditions in the immediate area.
After opening: If the temperature falls below 70 degrees F the pool will close any time after 3:00 p.m. and there are no guests in the facility for the rest of the day.
3. No tobacco and tobacco related products on parks or aquatics facility grounds.
4. No take-in food and beverages, chewing gum, glass or glassware within the pool enclosure, deck area or bathhouse.
5. No pets or animals allowed in the pool area.
6. No inappropriate public displays of affection are allowed in the facility.
7. No cameras or cellphones usage is allowed in the swimming pool, on the deck area or bathhouse.
8. A thorough shower with soap must be taken before entering the pool deck area, and after use of toilet facilities.
9. Individuals with open sores or a contagious disease will not be permitted to swim.
10. Individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to swim.
11. The City requires clean and proper swimming attire. Cut-off shorts are prohibited.
12. Swim diapers are required on bathers who are not toilet trained.
13. No floatation devices in the pool. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed.
14. All individuals pass a swim test prior to utilizing the deep end or slides.
15. No diving in the shallow end of the swimming pool and in other areas marked “No Diving”.
16. No running, jumping or rough play of any kind in the swimming pool, on the deck area or bathhouse.
17. No hanging or playing on the life ropes.
18. No somersaults or back dives from the edge of the pool or diving board.
19. No more than one person or bounce on the diving board.
20. Davenport Parks and Recreation is not responsible for valuables or lost articles.

Drop Slide Rules
1. All individuals pass a swim test prior to utilizing the slide.
2. Follow the instructions of the attendant.
3. No standing, rotating or stopping in or on the slide.
4. Keep your hands inside the slide.
5. Feet first entry only. Recommended to enter the diving well with feet together.
6. Single user only. No more than one person – no holding of children while riding.
7. No chains.
8. Exit the diving well as quickly as possible at closest ladder.

Diving Board Rules
1. All individuals pass a swim test prior to utilizing the diving board.
2. Follow the instructions of the attendant.
3. Wait until previous diver is safely out of the way until climbing onto the diving board.
4. No somersaults or back dives off of the diving board.
5. Only one bounce is permitted.
6. Dive directly off end of board.
7. Single user only. No more than one person permitted on diving board at a time..
8. Exit the diving well as quickly as possible at closest ladder.

Diving well depth is 11 feet.


Water Slide Rules
1. All individuals pass a swim test prior to utilizing the slide.
2. Follow the instructions of the attendant.
3. No standing, rotating or stopping in or on the slide.
4. Keep your hands inside the slide.
5. Feet first entry only. Recommended to enter the splash pool with feet together.
6. Single user only. No more than one person – no holding of children while riding.
7. No chains.
8. Exit the splash pool as quickly as possible.

Splash pool depth is 3 feet, 4 inch.
