Ballet/Jazz 7+ : Mon 5:45-7:15pm - DJD

A beginning course focusing on proper ballet and jazz technique. Jazz technique is developed from ballet with small but noticable differences such as parallel vs turned out feet. Ballet is typically more fluid where jazz is more upbeat. The similarities and differences are what make learning these styles together a blast.

Note:

Classes begin week of Saturday, January 11th - Thursday, January 16th.
Classes meet once a week at the scheduled time.
Dance Attire required: Listed on the Website by specific class.
Students must be signed in/out by an adult parent/guardian
Students missing more than 3 classes may be asked not to perform in recital.
No classes Monday, March 17th – Saturday, March 22nd. Resuming on Monday, March 24th.
No Saturday classes April 5th, Due to Theatre Showcases. Make up Day for Saturday Classes is May 10th.
Recital Rehearsals May 13th, 14th, or 15th times TBA

The $65 costume fee is included in your registration. The final payment is due by Friday, February 14th.

Classes conclude in annual, costumed, dance recital on Saturday, May 17th. Times TBA by week 4 of classes.
No fee for recital tickets, limited seating
All students must be potty-trained before enrolling in programs.
All Dance classes meet in Dance Studio, lower level of theatre bldg.
All Tumbling classes meet in Cottage 10.
