Magic 8+ : Tue 5:45-6:45- DJTH

Award winning local magician, David Casas, will lead this special 5-week magic workshop series at Davenport Junior Theatre. Students will learn basic sleight of hand magic, using everyday objects such as cards, coins and rubber bands. New tricks are taught every session! Magic teaches focus, dedication, coordination and communication. Cost of magic tools covered by enrollment fee. Class concludes with demonstration of skills learned. Join us as you learn the skills it takes to say “Abracadabra” and “Presto!”

Magic 8+ : Tue 5:45-6:45 takes place at Davenport Junior Theatre, located at 1002 West Kimberley Rd. Davenport, IA 52806.
Class begins Tuesday, January 13 - Tuesday February 10, 2026.
Classes meet once a week at the scheduled time.
Students sign in at front desk in the main lobby. Parents, please come day 1.
Magic Class concludes with a demonstration during the final class on October 7th.
All students must be potty-trained before enrolling in programs.
Students should dress comfortably and be ready to move.
Showcase is free for family and friends.
Students are allowed up to two absences per session. Any student who exceeds this limit will have their eligibility to perform reconsidered by their instructor and program coordinator.
